Pune Times Fashion Week 2018 - Day 02
Day 01 at Pune Times Fashion Week 2018 done and dusted, on to Day 02.
I love to see what designers create! I love to bear witness to their masterpieces, a fruit of their imaginations.
And at Pune Times Fashion Week 2018 I got the opportunity to do the very same!
After a wonderful Day 01, Priya and me were back for Day 02.
So, there we were anticipating what the designers had in store for us. And to no surprise they truly delivered.
The collections I saw were beautiful and had me totally enthralled.
To kick off Day 02, two designers had come together to don the runway with their creations in yet another dual showcase.
Designers Ulka Bafna Vohra and Dimple Majithia were the kick-off for this day.
Ulka SB Couture by Ulka Bafna Vohra
Ulka Bafna Vohra brought to us a palette of designs with wonderful 3D applique work and embroideries. The colors that walked the runway were alluring, amplifying the beauty of the models that sported them.

Without a moment to spare, the second part of this show ensued.
Threads & Souls by Dimple Majithiya
Dimple Majithia presented a charming assemblage of lehengas & sarees. The hues varied in pink and red, in the power of pastels mostly. It felt like a fashion flashback into the 1960s through to the 1980s, with a bolder and modern perspective to the silhouettes and patterns of that era.

An intermission ensued, as is the norm between two show slots.
P.A.A.S.H. by Vaishali Karad
Designer Vaishali Karad is another to exhibit a vibe of 'Indie-Boho' in her collection. Comfort for wear seemed to be the key element in her designs. Sober tones and sophisticated silhouettes which are perfect for day wear.

Without further ado, the second segment of this dual showcase followed.
Ashish And Shefali
Ashish & Shefali presented a collection with intricate embroideries and embellishments. Priya had been invited to sport an ensemble from their collection for the show. She and I both fell instantly in love with the designs they showcased on the runway. The outfits were a delightful dream come to life.

Another breather before the next show. Karina arrived by this time, ready to watch the final shows of PTFW 2018.
Avant Garde by ISAS - International Beauty School
ISAS International Beauty School put on quite a show. Hair & Make-up Avant Garde, the institute put together a grand display of the talent that pools within its faculty.
Another interval with only 2 more shows remaining till PTFW 2018 comes to close. Darshit turned up to check out the final shows.
Shruti Mangaaysh
Shruti Mangaaysh showcased a love story! Romance oozed from the ensembles that came out to the runway. The female models were styled in a demure pre-colonial Spanish aesthetic, the male models were donned to air romeo-machismo. The designer duo gave a fresh take on fashion from 18th century Spain.

With the day behind us and the last break, now came the final show for the day and for PTFW 2018.
Archana Kochhar
Archana Kochhar brought the Cinderella story to life right there on the runway of Pune Times Fashion Week 2018. Like walking through the gardens of 'Neverland', if ever there was one dedicated to fashion. The designs were majestic, suitable for the special occasions in a women's life. This designer is turning out to be the 'fairy godmother' personified with her creations.
Although all shows were somewhat delayed, I didn't mind the wait. The team at Times Fashion Week and all the Designers truly deserve a hearty round of applause for the time and effort put in to set up this event.
