When I Cook! Wai-Wai My Way!

Wai-Wai My Way!
Wai-Wai noodles are a great go-to for a quick fix meal!

However, after some time, the plain instant noodle-soup can get quite mundane!
So, occasionally I add a few more things to make it more wholesome and interesting.

What follows is one of the many variations that I've clubbed together!

Ingredients:
Wai-Wai Noodles 1 pkt
Okra a.k.a. Lady Fingers 100g
Onion 1 large
Garlic 3-5 Cloves
Ginger 1 inch piece
Green Chilies 3-5
Dry Red Chilies 3-5
Scallions a.k.a. Spring Onion 1
Paneer a.k.a. Cottage Cheese 50g
Egg 1
Vinegar
Soya-Sauce
Salt
Black-Pepper Powder (Preferably fresh ground)

Prep.:
  • In a bowl, pour 2 large cups of water and souk the noodles for 5-10 minutes. Once done, drain the water into another bowl to be used later
  • Onion: Finely chop one half, and julienne the other half
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese: Cut into pieces as desired.

Method:

  • Soup: In a sauce pan heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil and saute the green chilies along with the slivers of ginger and the spices & condiments from the Wai-Wai packet.
  • Okra/Lady-Finger:
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese: Saute in butter/oil.
  • Egg: Fry the egg with the yolk intact, or you could make an omelette.
  • Noodles: In a wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil, saute the scallions with 2 teaspoons of black-pepper powder.

Service:
A bowl is the best option for plating a noodle-soup dish!
But, that's entirely up to you!
Enjoy!
