When I Cook!

Green Beans!
Here's a playlist that I quite enjoyed - Mix - Top Trending 2017 (English Songs)

Ingredients:

Green Beans 250g
1 inch of Ginger
7-11 cloves of Garlic
1 Onion
1 Tomato
Red Chili powder
Coriander powder
Turmeric powder
Salt
refined cooking oil

Prep.:

Wash & drain off excess water, cut away the ends.
In a bowl, mix 1/3 cup of water, turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder(half a teaspoon each).
Chop the onion & tomato, crush the ginger and garlic into a paste.

Cooking:

Heat the oil in a pan or wok. Fry the onion till it begins to turn brown.
Add the ginger-garlic paste.
Add the water solution of turmeric, red-chili & coriander.
Saute till most of the water has evaporated.
Add the green beans and stir well so that all pieces are well coated with the spice mix.
Now add the chopped tomato and saute for a few minutes.
Add salt as per your liking; I think 1/2 a teaspoon should be sufficient.
Place a lid on the wok/pan, reduce the heat/flame and cook for 3-5 minutes.

Service:

...one could use finely chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnish.
Serve with rotis or steamed rice!
