Clique Click Clicks!!!
There's this one verse that expresses my sentiments when it comes to clicking pictures, it's from the song Photograph - Ed Sheeran .
We keep this love in a photographIt just fits. Dunno whether that makes sense or not, but that's how I feel about photographs. Capturing those moments to be frozen still in time, which otherwise would be just vague distant memories.
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts are never broken
And time's forever frozen still
It's "Flashback Friday", and I'm here going down memory lane, so to speak. Spent some time on my Facebook profile, browsing through albums created before the introduction of Instagram. I came about quite a few photographs, but these ten that I'm proud to showcase here are the pillars of my life here in Pune.
These ten photos show moments from my early teen years right up to 2017. I guess it's safe to say we've grown up together, I'll admit two from the above images drifted apart over a period of time. C'est la vie, be that as it may, I feel inexplicably blessed that I remain friends with the rest all these years and hopefully for many more to come.
We've shared enumerable fun and crazy moments, counselled and when required, consoled each other.
At fourteen I was outed for being gay, as many would know it isn't a situation that many are prepared for. And neither was I, but I had befriended these people, these amazing individuals, who gave no care to the conventional and accepted me as is.
Right back to when Alisha and Meetal informed me that there was this girl, who was out blabbing about my sexuality. Ironically, a year later she became and still remains one of my best friends.
Full of joie de vivre, life has never been dull with this lot.
The number of parties that Lavina, Heenal, Sooreh, Priya and me have attended and organised. Dinners, lunches, birthdays, cocktail parties, brunches, cookouts, the list goes on and on and on.
It's made life fun and less complex, having people understand my perspective.
Well that's all for this Friday's flashback!
Here's another track that's brilliant! The bass, the beats, brilliant I tell you! Diplo ft. Sleepy (Boombox Cartel Remix) Enjoy!
Look me up on Instagram: thedreamer89 that's where it's photos galore.
I'm off to go figure WatZzz Next?!!
