Eargasm today - Monkey Radio India: Liquid Wave by DJ Quake

2017 is a year of contrasts: At one end new designers are challenging the stereotype of fashion; and at the other end, established houses are producing polished & bold styles, often with new creative directors at the helm.

Looking over the fashion shows from around the world, that I viewed up on enumerable websites, I could only conclude that a revival of the 1990s are in order; glad I'm a 90's kid!!!

The 90s was a decade of denims, bright hues, high-top sneakers, backpacks, overcoats & jackets around the waist, over-sized shoulders, piercings and let's not forget Goth.

Just throwing together some closet-combinations from within my wardrobe that adhere to the comeback.

...Mixed Messages...

T-shirts with quotes & sayings resurface; but no longer the classy-quotes, instead an assortment of 'Mixed Messages'.

...Crazy For Camouflage...

I've always found the camouflage very appealing, probably cause of the fact that most my family members either serve or have served in the Indian Armed Forces. I'm not one for shirts or t-shirts in camouflage, but give me a track-pant any day with the print.

...Check-in With Checks...

It is official: Plaid and checkered outer-wear dethrones velvet as the top trend of this year. And I love checks. Be it a shirt or a pajama, pair with items from within one's closet to prep an OOTD that is simply stylish.
